CAT tools for technical and legal translations
Where possible and necessary, especially for technical projects, our French translators use CAT tools, primarily SDL Trados, currently in its 2019 and 2021 versions. This saves the client money, especially when translating similar documents, which is particularly the case for technical translations. In addition, these programmes increase the quality of the translation thanks to the consistency of the terminology used.
We only deliver print-ready documents
Our layout specialists take care of the impeccable quality of the translated documents. They are perfectly familiar with all modern DTP programmes, such as Adobe InDesign, Adobe Framemaker, CorelDraw, etc.
Drawings in dwg and dxf formats are usually translated by French translators themselves. In complicated cases, for example when the drawings are only available as scanned PDF documents, we use our DTP specialists.
French software localisation
French software localisation orders are also becoming more and more frequent in our translation agency: Translation of PC software, iOS apps and Android apps into French. Industrial software translation is often part of many translation jobs anyway.
